[SPECIAL] 10 years of Super Junior!


On November 6, 2005 was born the South Korean boyband Super Junior, one of the greatest icons of Korean pop music. Formed initially of 13 members: Leeteuk (leader), Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Han Geng and Kibum, the last two left the group.

By the record label SM Entertainment, Super Junior originally supposed to be a male group of regular members without specific training, but whose members were changed from year to year. However, everything changed as early as his first hit, the hit "Twins (Knock Out)". The public acceptance was huge and the fans love for the boys would prevent the record label to exchange for the new members.

The second hit of success was "미라클 (Miracle)" with a video clip that thanks to the fans and from then on the group follow a ladder to success year after year. Recognized in South Korea, just lacked international recognition, which came in 2010 with the album “미인 (Bonamana)”. The single title figured in the first place on the charts around the world and music video choreography became a mania among fans.

Not only that, the group of 11 members had the addition of two new members: Henry and Zhou Mi, belonging to the subgroup Super Junior M - dedicated to the Chinese music market -. Similarly, there are subgroups Super Junior K.R.Y., Super Junior T, Super Junior Happy, Super Junior D&E, as well as jobs and solos of Henry, Zhou Mi and Kyuhyun.

In 2015, the ELFs - fandom of Super Junior - has a lot to celebrate worldwide. 10 years of Super Junior!!!
